The David Boren Trail is another great place to visit, which was actually named after the former governor of Oklahoma. It is located in Beavers Bend State Park and depending on your skill level and how much time you have to explore, you can choose from seven different trail systems. Whether you are looking for a relaxing walk or a trail to test your limits, you will find one to suit your needs. The Skyline Trail in particular is a popular one that extends over five miles and has you crossing creeks and going up steep climbs. The Cedar Bluff Nature Trail and Beaver Creek Trail are both one-mile long and easy for the whole family. The David Boren Trail is considered one of the best backpacking trails in the state and definitely one worth checking out if you are up for some outdoor adventure.
