Looking for a unique experience during your Beavers Bend Creative Escapes getaway? Look no further than the Beavers Bend Depot and Stables. Offering 1/3-size replica train rides, horseback riding, hay rides and campfire fun, this is a one-stop destination for outdoor entertainment!
The steam-powered C.P. Huntington was the first locomotive purchased by the Southern Pacific Railroad, named after the company’s third president, Collis P. Huntington. The Beaver’s Bend Depot and Stables possesses a 1/3-size replica of this iconic train, ideal for both children and adults. Because the train’s path runs through the Beavers Bend State Park Game Reserve, chances are good that riders will see wildlife during their 15 to 20-minute journey. Couple that with the gorgeous landscape, and you’ll want to be sure to bring your camera.

Twice per week on Saturdays, hay rides are offered to the public. Lasting a little over an hour, your wagon will meander through Beavers Bend Resort Park. Private rides for groups can be arranged.
If you get hungry, the Depot also offers around-the-campfire food and treats. Hot dogs and marshmallows are prepared over the fire with sides of chips, graham crackers and drinks.
A full list of prices are available at the Shop Oklahoma website. Packages are available if you want to participate in more than one activity. So if you’re looking for a great way to spend an afternoon during your Broken Bow getaway, look no further than the Beaver’s Bend Depot and Stables!
