Go Hiking
There’s nothing quite like “getting lost” in nature. Because our cabins are close to Beavers Bend State Park, it’s easy to explore the park’s trails, including the Choctaw Nation Trail, Friends Trail, and Cedar Bluff Trail. We also recommend going for a stroll on the nature paths found along the Mountain Fork River.
Paddling Excursions
Take a break from adventures on dry land and spend time out on the water. Both Broken Bow Lake and Mountain Fork River are ideal places to go kayaking and canoeing. If you don’t have your own gear to bring with you, don’t worry. There are several places to rent a canoe or kayak from, including Yippie Kayo Kayaks and Tippa Canoe. Our concierge team can also help arrange rentals for you.
Other Outdoor Pursuits
The fun doesn’t stop there. Trade hiking boots in for a saddle and go horseback riding. Both Riverman Trail Rides and Beavers Bend Depot & Trail Rides offer unforgettable outings. Take in the beautiful scenery from a higher vantage point on ziplines at Rugaru Adventures. Learn about regional wildlife at the Beavers Bend Forest Heritage Center, or look to the trees to see how many different species of birds you can spot.
