I don’t know if many of you have noticed or not but there is very little trash on the highway in Hochatown these days.  I want to say a special “Thank YOU” to Janet Cress and her crew for picking up our roads!!  We had a terrible problem with trash on our roads in the past but thanks to Janet and the local merchants and cabin managers in the Broken Bow/Hochatown area, this trash seems to be a thing of the past.  We all donate money to pay for this pick up but Janet is the one that oversees it and it is greatly appreciated.

I say all this now because, yesterday, as I was driving home from Tulsa Town, I noticed a lot of trash on the highways.  As I turned North on Hwy 259 toward Hochatown and Beavers Bend State Park, there was none!!  It was a beautiful sight and one that was a long time coming.

Please remember, as you visit our area, not to throw your trash out!!  This also means not to put unsecured trash in the back of your pickups or leave any in your boats.  It blows out!!  Really…It does.

That was my soap box for today!!  And everyday, actually!!!
