Even skeptics enjoy a little fun. And that’s just what you’ll find at the annual Honobia Bigfoot Festival on October 5-6 in Honobia, Oklahoma.
La Flore County—where Honobia is located—is considered a hot spot for Bigfoot sightings in Oklahoma, one of the states where sightings have been reported. Signs of these occurrences include strange wood-on-wood knocks or powerful taps and vocalizations that range from whispers to whistles to thunderous roars. No sightings are expected the weekend of the fest, but lots of fun times definitely are!
The Bigfoot Festival will be held on the grounds of the Kiamichi Mountains Christian Mission in Honobia, which provides a great setting for nighttime gatherings around a campfire where visitors can enjoy Bigfoot Encounters Storytelling. The two-day fest also includes a 5K/1 mile fun run, helicopter rides, live music, a free movie, miniature golf, a Kids Zone with bouncy houses, craft and food vendors, and more.
