Located at the end of a quiet lane in a wooded neighborhood just south of Beavers Bend State Resort Park, this spacious cabin offers a getaway location for up to 10 guests, including those that are physically challenged! This two-story building offers all the essentials on the first floor for anyone who is limited in their movement up stairs, yet provides extra space upstairs for our guests’ convenience. The quiet property feels remote, but is within a short driving distance of activities, eateries and more.
Outside, the wooded-lot makes you feel as though you’re camping without any of the hassle! This charming cabin with traditional metal roof tempts you with three visible decks; the one in front features a ramp to provide ample accessibility. A gas grill offers the ability to bring the kitchen outside, while a hot tub and rockers offer places to relax and unwind. The nearby stream offers charming ambience when the water runs freely. Try your hand at a game of horseshoes then gather around the fire pit, roast some marshmallows and tell ghost stores well into the night! You can even try your hand at some campfire cooking to ease your appetite. But be careful with your food – you’re in nature and the animals might come see what smells so good!
Inside you’ll discover four warm, cabin bedrooms and three bathrooms (two of each are downstairs). The accessible master bedroom is outfitted with a walk-in shower with grab-bars, and easy-to-use commode.
A rustic-yet-modern kitchen is fully-equipped, letting your group gather, fix great meals, and even eat at the bar; or have a seat around the large dining table. The attached great room is spacious and bright with wall-to-ceiling windows on one side and a gas fireplace, flat-screen TV and plenty of seating (including a sleeper-sofa).
The bonus upstairs level offers two bedrooms, a ful bathroom and the game room! Go head-to-head in a game of ping-pong, or challenge each other on the flat-screen TV and X-Box games. Feeling alittle old-fashioned? Then break out the board games and books! And no need to be away from your email all vacation: the cabin offers Wi-Fi, although we don’t recommend letting this perk ruin your getaway!
