We’re particularly fond of Cedar Creek Golf Course because it’s close to home. Located just minutes from Beavers Bend Creative Escapes in Beavers Bend State Park, it offers panoramic views of towering pines and the blue Broken Bow Lake. Cedar Creek winds through the course to provide soothing sounds and challenging gameplay. This is one of the most renowned Oklahoma golf courses, and it boasts 18 holes, a driving range, and cart and club rentals—so you don’t have to worry about packing yours. After a long day of Oklahoma golf, retire to one of our Broken Bow, OK cabins for a soak in the hot tub and a meal on your covered deck.
Idabel Country Club for Oklahoma Golf
When day two of your Oklahoma golf trip rolls around, head south to the lovely Idabel Country Club. Another full-sized course and driving range, Idabel Country Club also has tennis courts, a restaurant, and a pool. While you’re in Idabel, check out the Museum of the Red River. Admission is free, and you’ll see a wide variety of exhibits and artifacts, including a cast of the world’s most complete set of Acrocanthosaurus atokensis fossils, which was uncovered right here in Oklahoma.
