Situated just “across the road” from Hochatown State Park near Route 259, Creekside Serenade sits on a spacious, wooded lot, just feet from East Fork Lukfata Creek (a.k.a. “Fork Creek”).
Enjoy the burbling of the creek from the covered back porch or from the Adirondack Chairs by the fire ring (let us know if you need wood for a fire). Or choose to drown out the creek in the private back-porch hot tub! Either way, the outdoor living at Creekside Serenade is ideal for nature-lovers. With the oaks and dogwoods that grow on the property, you’ll feel far removed from the rigors of everyday life. Bring a book, take a nap on a blanket, or just lose yourself in the sounds and sensations of the beautiful surroundings.
Inside, two king-bed bedrooms welcome guests: the Master with private bath upstairs, and the second on the main level (with bathroom just across the hall). Extra guests can sleep on the queen-size sleeper-sofa or a queen-size air mattress.
The small, but very functional and fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare your favorite meals during your stay. The adjoining great room offers a table with seating for four, and two stools at the kitchen bar offers a spot for kids or extra guests. The living area offers a welcoming sofa and chair where you can watch some television or watch the flames in the gas fireplace during winter months. On colder evenings you can raid the game closet for some friendly indoor competition.
There’s no need to bring your entire wardrobe with you: the cabin is outfitted with a washer and dryer for your convenience. However we do ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home when you choose Creekside Serenade.
