So you’re staying in a fantastic cabin here in the Broken Bow area that comes complete with a fully functional kitchen. But who really wants to cook dinner EVERY night during a vacation getaway… especially if you have any reason at all to celebrate or simply want to enjoy a meal that’s a little more upscale? Abendigo’s Grill & Patio is a great choice for that “special night” meal during your stay.
Located at the corner of Route 259 and Steven’s Gap road (just outside of Beaver’s Bend State Park), Abendigo’s Grill & Patio is very close to most Beaver’s Bend Creative Escapes cabins.
The main steak-centric menu is supplemented by a selection of seafood and other standard offerings. However you’ll also find a rotating menu featuring seasonal flavors. However their standard menu is chock-full of favorites enjoyed by all who dine:
- For a unique and delicious appetizer, we highly recommend the Smoked Trout Dip.
- Of course the steaks are a tradition here, but for a decadent treat, Abendigo’s tops their Filet Mignon with red wine reduction, blue cheese and fried shallots that bring your taste buds to life.
- Not in a steak mood? Consider the Pan Seared Blackened Shrimp n’ White Cheddar Grits, seamlessly melding southern and Creole to perfection with habanero jelly for extra kick. The Chicken Fried Steak is also delicious.
Looking for something way more casual, or want to enjoy a game on TV with the added benefit of a full bar? Abendigo’s has added a Sports Bar and Tap Room. Watch the game, enjoy a draft beer and even have a bite to eat in the area’s newest Sports Bar.
A word to the wise: restaurants get busy on the weekends, so you might think about making reservations if you know you’ll visit Abendigo’s Grill & Patio for dinner on a Friday or Saturday during your stay. That way, you can be sure to get seated quickly and enjoy a relaxing dinner!
Also, please be aware of the live music by talented musicians brought in on the weekends: a cover charge may be applicable during these performances if you want to eat on the patio.
