From the outside, this unique pet-friendly vacation home destination looks surprisingly modern and industrial. But don’t let that fool you because inside you’ll find natural wood walls and an almost log cabin-like feel mixed with luxurious modern accents and amenities.
However Nature House offers something that most log cabins lack: three stories of glass to let you feel like part of your outdoor surroundings! From just about anywhere in the home you’ll enjoy views of mature pine trees and a wide variety of deciduous trees including cedar, maple, oak, native aspen, dogwood and sweet gum.
Solid pine walls offset the stained concrete floors throughout the house, offering a sort of cozy comfort despite an open layout and high ceilings. Two King bedrooms and one Queen bedroom offer lodging for up to six adults. Two Twin fold-out ottomans offer additional sleeping options for kids or extra adults. The open living/dining area features a large sectional ottoman sofa with wood-burning fireplace and television in the living room area, a full modern kitchen, and a large, welcoming dining table with room for more people than the house can accommodate for sleeping. Quirky wood touches like hand-carved bench chairs and wooden mounted deer head complete the playful decor.
If you’re the type who cannot bear to leave your electronics behind, the home features free high-speed Wi-Fi, three flat-screen TVs with cable and DVD players, and indoor surround speakers for your audio needs.
Step outside onto the large deck where plenty of tables and chairs offer a perfect gathering area. The grill lets you expand your culinary preparation options. And a large wood burning fireplace warms the air around the private hot tub to let you enjoy relaxation, conversation and enjoyment for everyone in the house (holds up to 8 adults). A hammock between two nearby trees offers yet another place to kick back and enjoy a good book or watch the wildlife. And a fire-ring with Adirondack chairs lets you share that campfire experience with s’mores, ghost stories and great conversation.
