From this elevation guests are able to look out from NATURE HOUSES 3 stories of glass, which makes up the exterior wall of the living room, dining room and kitchen. These three rooms are the “heart” of NATURE HOUSE. From here you can enjoy the deck, outdoor dry-stacked rock fireplace and luxurious 8 person hot tub. Also, enjoy the view both day and night of the private walking paths, wilderness seating areas, fire pit and many species of animals and birds.
NATURE HOUSE completed construction in July 2006 and is located in the prestigious Southern Hills edition adjacent to the Beavers Bend State Park. This unique 1448 square foot home sits on 4.86 acres within the Ouachita Mountains. The home consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and open living room, kitchen and dining room.
NATURE HOUSE is Southern Hills first contemporary design, custom cabin. The owner’s concept of NATURE HOUSE was to build a modern dwelling out of abundant local / environmental materials that would honor and respect its natural surroundings. The entire exterior of NATURE HOUSE is covered in rough hewn red cedar and features extensive elevated 10 foot decks. The house itself is situated on the extreme western edge of its almost 5 acres, which is covered in 40-60 foot pine trees, as well as native aspen, cedar, dogwood, maple, oak and sweet gum trees

The modern structure of NATURE HOUSE required the interior to be just as sleek and sophisticated. The interior walls consist of solid pine, the floors throughout the home are stained concrete and the interior fireplace is 3 stories of dry-stacked rock. The kitchen consists of all stainless steel appliances and imported granite countertops. Ample space in the kitchen will make for superior entertaining.
The furnishings throughout NATURE HOUSE were selected from the stand point of “pure” design, “pure” comfort and “pure” beauty. Objects incorporated into the NATURE HOUSES design come from all over the world: Africa, Brazil, China, Denmark, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Scandinavia and Thailand. These objects are situated in order to provide each guest with a sense of peace and intrigue.
Upon entering NATURE HOUSE you will quickly understand why it exists…it is a luxurious escape from a very crazy world, in order to explore a more peaceful, serene and natural one
