HICKORY BEAR is the newest addition to the Creative Escapes family. Completed in the fall of 2007, every detail was considered when designing and constructing this home where “the log cabin” was given a new look. HICKORY BEAR is located on a beautifully wooded, corner acre in the tranquil, restricted subdivision of Northern Hills, less than three miles away from Cedar Creek Golf Course, the local winery, Beavers Bend Marina, fishing, water skiing and ATV trails. It has a generous pull-through driveway to accommodate any truck and sport trailer you might bring along with you during your stay. Inside you will find a two-story, all-glass den with plush furnishings and a remote controlled gas fireplace. Open to the den, is the beautiful, fully equipped kitchen and dining area that seats a total of 11. Also on the first floor are the laundry room complete with a full size washer, dryer, iron and ironing board, powder bath and luxurious master suite. HICKORY BEAR’S master suite will welcome you with a king bed with lush linens, vaulted ceilings, easy access to the hot tub, roomy shower, large garden tub, double sinks, plush robes for two and a blow dryer. Above the kitchen is the loft with privacy doors to keep “loft play” separate from the den. Also upstairs you will find the second bedroom and bath.

HICKORY BEAR welcomes your entire family and we believe that our dogs are a part of our families too. (We love cats also, unfortunately, the owner is seriously allergic so we only allow dogs.) We also have accommodations for your kid-os and grandkid-os including a child-size table and chairs, high chair, bed rails, bean bag, toys and movies.
